Medical Checkup Camp :

In our constant endeavor to promote awareness of a healthy life, SDSPL had once again this year organized a free medical checkup cam at the Factory. The Medical Camp was conducted by the Metas Adventist Hospital Team from Surat. Over 400 employees participated in this check-up. The camp included a one to one consultation opportunity with doctors. Employees with medical conditions were encouraged to meet the doctors who gave them advice and valuable tip’s on improving their life style to have a healthy life.

Life Support Training Program: In our Daily life we come across numerous occasion where there is a medical emergency and we wished we had known how to extend a helping hand to save a life till such time the medical team arrives. The Training program on life Support imparted by The Metas Adventist Hospital Team did exactly that. 90 of our SDSPL family members were fortunate enough to have received this very important knowledge on how to distinguish between different medical emergency and what should be the appropriate first aid to be given to save life.

With this program we now have over 150 selected employees who have Life Support Training. The earlier program was conducted by the Red Cross Society in the month of July 2019.
